New hobbies

Fully restored car on Gumtree trading for R225,000(an original goes for R500, 000)

When you are creating yourself make sure you have new hobbies that align with your previous hobbies. My previous hobby was the collection of antique Mercedes Benz cars, not the ones you keep in your display cupboard but the big ones. Unfortunately, I had to let them go My favourite collector's item was the Mercedes Benz Ponton W105. The amount of money it costs to restore it was absurd. Giving up on the Ponton was one of the more difficult things I had to part with. I am sad for not restoring it, but another miserable Monday would have been one too much.  I get my dopamine now for a car game I downloaded. It does not hit the same spot but a good consoling price. Another hobby of mine was trying out new foods with my friend and then tasting one another's food. Our bill would be like one of a family of four. I don't eat out so much anymore, but I do try new recipes myself. My advice is to find a cheaper hobby that aligns with your previous hobby it will be a good coping mechanism.
Here is link to YouTube that does the car justice so can you better comprehend why I wanted to take this journey with this beaut

The Adult Student Life

Being a student again is a unique experience, one the road can get lonely as you are much older than the other students🚶‍♀️. All those compulsory baby showers and bridal parties will be missed. But on the other hand, it is nice to wake up and go to campus and watch other people work. My campus is so generous after each block they asked to rate your experience. Then can't remember when last I was so well-rested just weeks of exams that is crunch time but tolerable. There is also no judgment on what you are wearing or where your nails were done. We as adults forget the unnecessary pressure, we put on one another with competition in the workplace.
But studying can feel fake the mental adaption from assisting the court in crime detection to the student that must change the collum heading to red not even to mention the class activities it can become difficult to stay motivated. The best motivation is to remember why you started therefore if you leave you should do it for yourself. What works for me I aim for high marks which gives me something to work towards rather than simply doing the assignments to get them done.  The idea is to enjoy the journey and not put your focus on the end goal as 3 years is a long road.

How to successfully quit your a Job

If you are considering leaving never make an emotional decision, give it another 6 months if the feeling persists then you what is the right to do. As Ken Coleman says in his blog (here is the link to the video), make sure that you have a plan or place that you can go to.   On the other hand, ensure that you give the employee enough time to replace you. In my opinion, no one is irreplaceable, so do not feel that way, also do not let other people make you feel that way.

I took the plan option I chose to study for 3 years full-time. Let me tell you nothing can prepare you for the third consecutive month that you don’t get paid and not getting your bonus is agonizing. Ken also states that you should have safety nets.  I have listened to many business podcasts that states don’t put all your eggs in one basket and make sure you have 3 different income streams. Well according to Murphy's law, 2 of the 3 collapsed in 2 months the last one lasted 10 months but was not enough to sustain me but my safety nets were in place. When it comes to sustainability finance, I would suggest investing your money buy one of the major banks and then getting a monthly stipend. The money is less than want most business prospects would be, but it gives one peace of mind.

Is there a good enough reason to leave Biology to go and study IT?

This video can be found on Shutterstock about plant dying
Describing how I felt being planted in the wrong environment.

Is there a good enough reason to leave Biology to go and study IT?

If can sum it up with this quote: "No reason to stay is a good reason to leave". Even though biology means life it was a dead end for me.  In my opinion, the more biology is studied the more theoretical it becomes. Whereas in IT the more you study the more you empower yourself.  I worked in a laboratory that assisted the court in crime detection. There was no room for creativity. I am no artist, but monotony killed me so much that I took I different road home regularly

My reason for leaving I had a recurring problem when I escalated it to the relevant authorities, they felt that they were going to address it again, and I wanted change. When addressing a soul-eating issue with your employer be ready to choose yourself.  I was not being stimulated and valued I felt there was no reason to stay so might as well leave.
